Therefore, we are pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity for the position of Assets Integrity Inspector. As an Assets Integrity Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating the condition of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure. Your work will play a key role in preventing failures, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement periodic inspection plans and conduct regular inspections and assessments of assets, including machinery, equipment, facilities, and pipelines, to monitor their performance and efficiency using various inspection techniques.
  • Assess the condition of assets and identify potential issues that may affect performance or safety.
  • Collect data and review and interpret codes, standards, and regulations related to asset integrity, such as API, ASME, and NACE standards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and findings, documenting results, deviations, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to address any issues related to asset integrity and ensure effective communication of findings.
  • Perform inspections and maintenance activities in compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, environmental regulatory body standards, and safety protocols.
  • Propose and implement improvements to inspection techniques

Qualifications, Experience, Competencies & Skills

Educational Qualifications 

  • Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 

Professional Certifications and Training:

  • Any of the following certifications are considered an added advantage:
  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
  • Pressure Vessel Inspection Certification (API 510)
  • Piping Inspection Certification (API 570)
  • Storage Tank Inspection Certification (API 653)
  • BEGAS Level I Certification (Corrosion Control)

Work Experience: 

  • 1–3 years of experience.

 

Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge in inspection and testing of the following systems and equipment:
  • Pressure vessels
  • Above-ground storage tanks
  • Heat exchangers
  • Boilers
  • Piping systems
  • Pipelines
  • Welding inspection
  • Coating inspection and application

  • Proficiency in English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Data collection and analysis skills
  • Experience in using specialized tools and equipment
  • Ability to organize the worksite and maintain cleanliness and order
