 Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive the crane safely according to guidelines and safety standards. This requires mastering crane control systems and using them skillfully to carry out loading operations accurately and safely.
• Use the crane to lift and load materials and products precisely as per instructions and schedules, following the directives of the Transport Coordinator.
• Guide and load materials safely and accurately to prevent damages or injuries.
• Ensure the crane and its components are in good condition by performing routine maintenance and periodic inspections. The crane driver must be familiar with basic maintenance systems and report any defects or malfunctions that may affect crane performance.
• Effectively coordinate and communicate with the team at warehouses, production sites, and loading locations to facilitate loading and transport operations while following necessary instructions and guidelines.
• Comply with safety laws and local and international regulations related to loading operations and crane usage. The crane driver must be aware of safety procedures.
• Ensure the crane is in proper working condition by inspecting its mechanical and electrical components and verifying the integrity of belts, chains, wires, and control systems.
• Monitor crane performance during loading and unloading operations to ensure accuracy and safety. The crane driver must verify load stability and check for any unusual vibrations while lifting and moving loads.
• Participate in safety inspections.
• Take part in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) sessions.
• Perform all duties in accordance with approved health and safety regulations and comply with general health and safety procedures and standards.
• Report any suspicious condition or behavior that poses a risk to public safety.

Educational Qualifications:

• High school degree

Professional Certifications and Training:

• Ordinary Driving License
• Crane-specific Driving License
• General Safety Training Certificate, an additional advantage.

Work Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in driving cranes and crane machinery.

Required Knowledge:

• Knowledge of driving laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of lifting and loading techniques.
• Understanding of basic maintenance and the ability to identify and repair minor faults that may occur during operation.
