Site Security Supervisor

The supervisor develops security policies and procedures and coordinates with external entities. He supervises the security team and prepares periodic reports on security performance, incidents, and investigations. He cooperates with management and other departments to achieve integration and cooperation in all aspects of security.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and follow up on the implementation of security strategies and policies, and ensure the effective application of appropriate security procedures within the facility.

· Assess and analyze security risks at sites, and conduct investigations in cases of incidents and security violations.

·   Develop and update security policies and procedures to improve the level of protection and safety.

· Liaise with government entities, suppliers, and consultants to support security functions and ensure compliance with legal and industry requirements.

· Update and improve security systems for sensitive sites and the technology used.

· Determine security requirements to cover all sites and critical areas and deploy them effectively to achieve full security coverage.

· Develop continuous training programs for security officers to enhance their skills and strengthen their performance, and work on raising the overall qualification level of the team.

· Handle security challenges and issues effectively and make decisions to address potential security threats.

· Monitor surveillance systems and other security devices to detect any suspicious activity or record security incidents.

· Supervise security investigations in cases of theft, riots, assault, or other undesired incidents.

· Organize safety training sessions and workshops for employees to ensure their awareness of the necessary security procedures to maintain their safety while performing their duties.

· Monitor the implementation of security policies and procedures, collect data, analyze security performance, prepare reports, and submit them to management for discussion.

· Direct and follow up on the work of the security team, define their roles and responsibilities, and set security priorities.

· Monitor team performance, guide, motivate, develop their skills, and oversee training and development activities.

· Conduct periodic performance evaluations for security officers and provide feedback to improve and motivate performance.

· Ensure that security officers comply with security policies, procedures, as well as local and industry laws.

· Ensure the implementation of security and safety policies throughout the company by monitoring security procedures and verifying compliance of all departments with such policies.

Educational Qualification:

·     Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Professional Certifications and Training:

·     Recognized professional certifications in the field of security and safety.

·     Weapons training

·     Self-defense training

·     Inspection training

·     Physical fitness

Work Experience:

·     10 years or more of experience in the security field in hazardous industrial facilities, including at least 3 years in a supervisory position.

Required Knowledge:

·     Knowledge of security laws and regulations.

·     Ability to analyze risks and apply appropriate preventive measures.

· Ability to handle emergency situations and make quick and correct decisions.

·    Knowledge of the latest security and surveillance technologies and devices.

·  Ability to conduct security investigations and collect necessary data and information for analysis and taking appropriate actions.

·   Ability to deal with employees and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

·     Ability to work within a security team and provide mutual support to achieve security objectives.

·     Ability to analyze security problems and find effective solutions to address them.
