Responsibilities:

• Accommodation Services:
- Oversee the daily management of staff housing units.
- Allocate housing units to employees in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor the condition and cleanliness of housing facilities, ensuring prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
- Manage occupancy records and oversee employee check-in and check-out procedures.
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate employee housing reservations.
- Supervise essential maintenance activities for housing facilities and ensure technical issues are addressed.
- Monitor procurement requests to meet housing needs for consumables, mattresses, blankets, and other essentials, and submit purchase requests to the Institutional Services Procurement Officer.
- Ensure rooms and living units are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Assess service levels and accommodation quality, reporting findings to management.
- Ensure that employees comply with general safety standards within the accommodation.
- Implement proper policies and procedures for housing unit allocation.
- Oversee the quality of services and maintenance in the housing unit.
- Comply with health and safety standards and maintain a secure living environment.
- Handle emergency situations requiring immediate intervention and report any security or health and safety violations.
- Supervise the implementation of all procedures and policies related to employee accommodation, collect operational data and performance indicators, and suggest improvements.
- Manage inventory and distribution of materials and supplies for room cleaning and accommodation services.


• Food Services:
- Oversee restaurant operations to ensure high-quality meal services that comply with health standards.
- Coordinate with catering providers or food suppliers to meet dietary and taste requirements.
- Monitor service quality, collect employee feedback on food and dining services, and implement necessary improvements.
- Manage meal delivery schedules and ensure timely service.
- Evaluate service providers' efficiency and oversee contract agreements.
- Monitor food inventory and ensure a steady supply of ingredients.
- Collaborate with a nutrition specialist to ensure balanced and healthy meal options for employees.
- Review and contribute to the development of meal menus for staff dining and catering services.
- Ensure a diverse selection of meal options to meet employees' dietary needs and preferences.
- Supervise menu execution, assess quality, and implement adjustments based on employee feedback.
- Ensure adherence to proper policies and procedures in the restaurant.

• Gather feedback from employees regarding all provided accommodation, dining, and meal services.

 

 

Skills Description

Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.

Professional Certifications and Training:
• Hotel services certifications are an added advantage.

Work Experience:
• 5 years of experience in hotel services management.

Required Knowledge:
• Knowledge of reception operations and reservation software usage.
• A deep understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of facility management and hospitality concepts.
• A good understanding of health and safety standards.

Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent skills in using computer software, including Excel, Word, and others.
• Very good level of proficiency in English.
• Organizational and time management skills.
